Sighnaghi

I feel special love to Signagi, after all in this city I married. Officially (wedding and a wedding happened a bit later, but it another story altogether). For the fifth day after my moving from Moscow to Tbilisi we absolutely spontaneously decided to undersign for the Georgian city of Signagi. It is the typical European small town – small lodges under a red tile roof, pavements from a stone blocks, unusual types of the nature and benevolent inhabitants. And in Signagi there is a restaurant, the tremendous view of the Alazansky valley, an ancient fortification and the round-the-clock registry office from where opens. But about all this one after another.

The Georgian city of Signagi is in the heart of Kakheti in 100 km from Tbilisi (2 hours of a driving) and if you decided to visit only one city in Kakheti – straight go to Signagi. Not so long ago the city completely repaired: restored facades of houses, made roads, constructed restaurants and hotels, generally, made a tourist place. After that some locals sold the houses to foreigners and artists, and some made house hotels. Since then in Signagi exhibitions, concerts and festive evenings become outdated.
In a warm sunny day it is a pleasure to walk across Signagi, it is possible to climb up also some towers of an ancient fortification of the XVIII century which surrounds the city, at last, to have dinner at restaurant and to admire a view of the Alazansky valley. It is possible to reach from Tbilisi to Signagi on a minibus which goes from bus station (Samgori's subway), fare — 5 lari.
And still Signagi called the city of love and opened there, as in Vegas, the round-the-clock registry office (to register marriage in which it is possible at any time (except Monday). Whether it is necessary to add that it added to the city still great popularity – now here come to marry and walk lovers.

Hello, I'd really like to travel to Signagi. I'm coming from Azerbaijan. How can I take a bus from Lagodekhi to Signagi?
