Anaklia

Аnaklia– the seaside resort and the settlement, close to administrative border of the Abkhazian autonomous republic in Zugdidsky municipality (the party Mingrelia – the Top Svanetiya), on a place of a confluence of the river Inguri to the Black Sea, at the height of 30 meters over the sea. In 2012 to the resort it is officially appropriated the resort status.
In the city there are ruins of fortress of 1703 of construction.
On a legend in this place kidnapped the child at mother (Anna) and took away it by the ship, in the face of lamenting on the bank of mother. People began to question that happened and the answer to their question was "Anna ркиансо (кивисо)" - "on megrelsky - Anna sobs". On a legend for this reason this place was called by "Anarkia" (tear-stained) as, unfortunately, from this coast Turks to the coast often took away slaves. In a consequence the name was transformed to Anaklia.

Today Anaklia represents one of the most quickly developing resorts in the world. Existence here magnetic sand and a minimality of a precipitation distinguishes from others Anakliya. Today we are completely ready to receive guests of 5 five-stars hotels.
